About the Event
Special invite to Sail Class Participants, all members welcome
9:00 am - Final Sunfish Orientation of the season. (previous attendees may skip this)
9:30 am - Launch 3 Sunfish.
10:00 am - Capsize/recovery demo and practice.
10:30 am to Noon - Sailing a Sunfish with a mentor or solo.
RYC rescue boat will be on the water.
Lunch Break
1:00 pm or so - Sunfish and Lido (if available) fun race.
This will be an easy short course fun race for any member who wishes to participate. Test your new sailing knowledge and see how fast you can navigate the course.
4:30 pm - Potluck BBQ at the shed. Please bring a side dish to share, your beverage of choice and your entree for the BBQ.
Members are welcome to participate in part or all of the events.
Are you interested in becoming an RYC member? You're welcome to attend the potluck and come meet the membership.
