RYC Traditional Regatta Weekend - Open Invitation to Sail Howard Prairie

While we won't be hosting an organized regatta, we would like to invite anyone who has previously sailed here or is interested in doing so, to come to Howard Prairie our traditional regatta weekend, July 25-27, 2025, for an "Open Sail" to enjoy sailing the waters of Howard Prairie.   The club intends to host a no charge potluck BBQ the evening of Saturday the 26th, with the club providing the main course, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc.  Club members will be available all weekend to host, the RYC rescue boat will be on the water and the club shed and picnic area will be available for socializing.  Camping reservations through Jackson County Parks are available HERE for those attending. Sites S37, S38 have been reserved, and you may contact Christine at cestamper@gmail.com about sharing those sites. There are adjacent lakefront tent sites in the south campground currently available along with many RV sites providing water and power. There are numerous lodging accommodations in Ashland for those interested in that option. We are requesting an RSVP by July 15th, just to gauge interest. While we realize this is not the organized Southern Cascade Regatta many have come to know, however we'd love to host a weekend of sailing and comradery for all who may attend!
