2026 Annual Fall Membership Meeting

This is one of RYC's two required semi-annual membership meetings.  This is the annual meeting in which our membership approves nominations for positions on our 2027 Board of Directors, as the 2027 member year begins November 1st.  As a 501(c)(7) non-profit, the RYC cannot operate without a functioning Board, and we are currently looking for members who are willing to serve.  If you are interested in serving on the Board, there may be a position for you. No experience necessary as all it takes is a willingness to serve.  If you're a current member, we encourage you to attend this meeting and consider serving.

This event is a potluck. Board members will be providing a meat and vegetarian entree, with members and guests asked to bring a side, salad or dessert to share.

5:15 to 6:00 pm - No host social, please bring your beverage of choice.

6:00 pm - Dinner, with meeting to follow - Topics include, but not limited to: Treasurer's report and discussion, review of the 2026 sailing season, Tell Tales newsletter report, a look forward to next year and nominations and approval of Board of Director positions for 2027.

There will be a vote to amend the RYC Constitution in order to clarify the definitions of both the Active and Student memberships.  

As a member it's important that you attend, as you can help in this and other endeavors which seek to sustain the club and secure its future existence.

Member input is an important part of the discussion, and all RYC members are encouraged to attend.
