Welcome Aboard!

Cruisers make up a large part of the Rogue Yacht Club. Many organized, as well as spontaneous activities, for cruisers end up on happening through the sailing season.

In 2009 we have a few activities already planned. A "hot dog feed and blind dinghy race" is being organized by the Chapples. Michael Guss is putting together an activity around "Sailstice" a yearly celebration of all things sailing.Many impromptu raft-ups, potluck dinners and moonlight sails take place as cruisers enjoy each other's company on the lake.

The "Cruisers open house" was also a well received activity at the lake in 2008. As the sailing season nears. many more cruiser activities will materialize. Many we will be able to add to the yearly calendar of activities, some will just happen as sailors on Howard Prairie get together.
