RYC is a group of fun loving sailors dedicated to the fantastic sport of sailing.  We welcome new members of all ages and sailing abilities to join in our racing, cruising and social events throughout the year.

Our traditional home has been Howard Prairie Lake in the southern Cascades.  After a couple of very dry years, we're back at Howard Prairie lake again.

Come sail with us!

The Jensen Tropy was raced in classic Howard Prairie conditions with 9 boats racing.  Winds were consistent in the 10kt-14kt range.  With full water, the pursuit race was started from a line off the jetty and around Doe/Fawn Island and then around Buck Island.  We had two guest multi-hull racers who are past members of the club.  Bryan Simpson battled hard on his Hobie 16 to cross just in front of Jim Eggleston on the F-27.  In the battle for the trophy in the monohulls, Jesse and Sierra Repp sailed an outstanding race on the C-15 to cross the finish line less than a minute ahead of Warwicks, Spillman and Barbaras.
