Medford, OR - Set Sail and let the open waters take you where they lead. Sailing buffs can get a vicarious thrill, and their feet wet through a program currently airing on NewsWatch 12 (KDRV/KDKF).
"Latitudes and Attitudes" covers issues of interest to sailors, and boating enthusiasts airing Saturdays at 4 PM. The show is based on the popular national monthly magazine of the same name, see as its images and stories come alive on screen.
"Lats and Atts" on TV is a weekly 30-minute series featuring exciting journeys to the most sought-after sailing and cruising destinations in the world, from the Great Lakes, and the Caribbean to the South Pacific and beyond. Typical episodes feature real people cruising on their own boats, cruising tips, product demonstrations, and pictures and video from around the world. Including a review of the finest blue water cruising yachts in production and an editorial by world sailor and show producer Bob Bitchin himself.
The TV version of "Latitudes and Attitudes" is co-hosted by the lovely Courtney Haas, formerly of Fox Sports and "Lats and Atts" magazine publisher Bob Bitchin. Join Courtney as she leads us to remote destinations and joins cruisers on their adventures all over the world.

  This race should have been the "Ice Breaker". It was cloudy, foggy, kinda cold with gusting winds. Things started out pretty reasonable, but got pretty exciting by the time most boats were making their way around Buck Island. Many boats were heeled over pretty hard has they worked their way back to the finish line.
